Jason Clotter a Alan Bartuš (New York) & Band přinášejí na jednu scénu dva výjimečné představitele nové generace mezinárodního jazzu. Večer spojuje newyorskou energii, současný jazz, ikonické americké standardy a hudbu z nového alba. Koncert propojuje jazzovou tradici se zvukem dnešní doby. Jason Clotter, americký kontrabasista, patří k nejvyhledávanějším mladým hudebníkům na newyorské jazzové scéně. Je členem kapely legendárního saxofonisty Kennyho Garretta a spolupracoval s umělci jako Samara Joy, Jazzmeia Horn nebo Ravi Coltrane. Jeho hra kombinuje technickou brilanci, hluboký groove a nezaměnitelnou energii současného newyorského jazzu. Pianista Alan Bartuš je absolventem prestižní Manhattan School of Music v New Yorku a semifinalista Herbie Hancock International Jazz Competition. Vystupoval v legendárním Lincoln Center a etabloval se jako jeden z nejvýraznějších mladých evropských jazzových hudebníků, kteří si našli cestu na americkou scénu. Doprovodí je český bubeník Otto Hejnic, uznávaný jazzový hudebník, skladatel a kapelník s deseti alby a mnoha mezinárodními spolupracemi.

Two exceptional representatives of the new generation of international jazz meet on one stage. New York energy, contemporary jazz, iconic American standards and music from a brand-new album come together in an evening that connects jazz tradition with the sound of today.

American double bassist Jason Clotter is one of the most sought-after young musicians on the New York jazz scene. A member of legendary saxophonist Kenny Garrett’s band, he has also performed with leading artists including Samara Joy, Jazzmeia Horn and Ravi Coltrane. His playing combines outstanding technique, deep groove and the unmistakable energy of contemporary New York jazz.

Pianist Alan Bartuš is a graduate of the prestigious Manhattan School of Music in New York and a semifinalist of the Herbie Hancock International Jazz Competition. He has performed at the legendary Lincoln Center and has established himself as one of the most distinctive young European jazz musicians making their mark on the American scene.

The rhythm section is completed by outstanding Czech drummer Otto Hejnic, an acclaimed jazz musician, composer and bandleader with ten albums to his name and numerous international collaborations.

Expect an evening filled with famous American jazz standards, thrilling improvisation and fresh original compositions. A unique meeting of New York and Central European jazz, performed by musicians who represent the vibrant sound of jazz today.
